Last Minute Move to Trailer Park Wave

Event organizers were watching the graph like a hawk and staying up at night worrying about water levels holding between Tuesday and Thursday. Checking the site every 1/2 hour the day of the comp through the time of the scheduled event at Mini C. (5:30) the gauge read like it was good, similar to the nice pile we had on Tuesday and Wednesday. In reality the flow had been cutoff hours before and although the graph showed the level holding it was actually a few hours from reflecting the actual flow.

After some heroic efforts to make the most of the location by Steve Bailey, HydroTherapy Session III had to make the tough call to move locations to Trailer Park Wave. At 4:30 the highly mobile boaters of Spokane made the turnaround and headed 10 min east to McGuire Park for some amazing surf at Trailer Park. Competitors who arrived after the registration period ending at 5:30 saw this sign:

My Apologies to those who anyone who drove to Mini C and had to reroute to TPW. A big thank you to everyone who made the last minute switch in locations and worked with the water level.
