Tough Call

After input from the community a difficult decision had to be made: Where to hold Hydrotherapy.

Corbin Park Wave: A fast dynamic wave which gives up spins, blunts, but can be very temperamental with spectacular spectator platform and a switch from previous events. Certainly there are some gnarly whirlpools so we would need to set safety.

Or

Dead Dog: A excellent hole feature that would allow spins, loops, back loops, cartwheels and a bigger variety of tricks and possibly a bit nicer to beginner/intermediates.

What to do? With river levels dropping by the day it looks like Thursday will be a toss up between the venues. Both have their advantages and disadvantages but in the interest of aesthetics and variety (wave moves) lets meet at Corbin and play hard! We will have plenty of time to do loops at Dead Dog and Trailer Park but lets make the most of one of Spokane’s best options! Both locations are within 10 minutes of each other and both provide excellent parking. In the event that the river stays high and the attending paddlers mutiny we will move back to Dead Dog so be prepared in the case of a change.
