Something New at Session #3

Absolutly everyone at Session #3 learned something new! With a great group of competators/students we had an awsome format that encouraged everyone to get out of their box to try and learn.

The feature was perfect - Sullivan was retentive and capable of pulling heaps of sweet moves. Everyone was able to attain the wave after the polish elves moved the rock in the eddy two nights prior. The sun was out and the vibe was good You could not ask for more!

Round 1: Combined best 2 of 3 rides at 45 seconds each. This classic rodeo format left paddlers breathless and very close on points, here are the results:

1st Place - Shawn Semb
2nd Place - Dustin Semb
3rd Place - Mike Barenti tied with Dan Retailliau

Round 2: A classic Big Trick contest - Best move of three rides took it.

1st Place - Jonah "I like to Party" Breuchaud
--> Airwheel
2nd Place - Andrew "Smiley" Rehn
--> Loop
3rd Place - Shawn Semb
--> Right Clean Cartwheel

Round 3: This is where people were truly challanged; an Entry Move contest! Out of three attemps each we saw everything from massive wave wheeels, Bow Plugs to penny dropper attemps, opposite direction cartwheeel attemps, mystery moves etc. The crew got creative and it was a blast to watch!

1st Place: Gordon "Mr. President" Wright with a clean, snappy, Wingover
2nd Place: Shawn Semb with a Kickflip Entry
3rd Place: Jonah Jonah "I like to Party" Breuchaud with a Wavewheel into sidesurf
